HOW WE STARTED

  • The idea started while working in Tyre in 2013

  • we recognized that a fisherman community can create a clean environment (in its quarters and historic fishing harbor)

  • by reinforcing cultural identity and sense of belonging, appreciation of crafts passed-down

  • by ancestors and belief in cleanliness as a way forward.
